If you have the bandwidth then grab the installer image at ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/latest/installer/installer/i386/RH7.3-SGI-XFS-1.1.iso
It's *so* much better than the ext_ filesystems in almost every aspect, specifically the security of the data. Recovery time from a hard reset is usually 1-2 seconds. Seriously. It takes a lot less time to do it during the install rather than converting it later.

What distro are you planning
on using?
Redhat 7.3

If you can't grab the image contact me offline. I can burn one for you for the price of the blank disc and postage if you so desire. (or anybody else for that matter) I also have the RedHat 8.0 image too.
