When I was racing cars for a living, I knew that there was a certain danger
involved every time I took my car on the track. Furthermore there's a
tremendous amount of trust amongst the drivers who're running wheel-to-
wheel in open wheel cars at 140+ miles per hour (and we also knew which
drivers couldn't be trusted :-).

On the other hand, I would never have raced in a car built by the lowest
bidder, or maintained by government programs.
