They're all over the place here in western Washington, even though we
get about enough snow each year to frost a cupcake.  It's really
irritating since 9/10 of the folks driving them are either angry road
warriors, telephone drivers, or both!  I still haven't made the move to
a 4-door car since I love the maneuverability of my Impreza too much.
It also handles inclement weather far better than those beasts, so
what's the point?
