I don't know partition magic, but one thing System Commander can do is
hide two windows partitions from each other.  This means that a) they
don't mess with each other's configuration and b) you can boot windows
or DOS from other than the first partition on the disk easily.  I am
sure LILO can't do that, but can GRUB?
