Running Mandrake 7.0 on one box. Planning on installing 8.0 and Redmond Linux on a new
box I'm
building. Mandrake installs easily. Auto identified most of my hardware and comes
stock with
both kde and Gnome. Which is handy. Never could get linuxconfig on Gnome to setup my
modem so I
configured it on kde's kppp and it runs on both Gnome and kde. Mandrake is also 100%
Red Hat
compatible, so a lot of those programs and packages cut for Red Hat can be installed on
Mandrake without extensive re writing and compiling.
