Hmm. Well, KDE2.2 requires at least qt 2.2.4, IIRC, and recommends 2.3.1. I'm 
puzzled by the response of qt-1.45-6. I'm not on my linux box, but it seems to 
me that OL3.1 installed qt 2.2.something.

With your base install, did you get KDE2.1? I don't recall if OL3.1 installed a 
qt1 version along with qt2, I guess that's possible. Do you have a /usr/lib/qt2 
directory? I'd recommend updating regardless. The qt2.3.1 RPM should be 
available from the same place you got the KDE2.2 RPMs.

Prior to updating, mv your /usr/lib/qt2 directory to /usr/lib/qt2.2.4 (or 
whatever you choose) so that you can always undo it.
