Hi list! Can someone help me diagnose my kernel bonk? When I try to boot a 2.4.4 kernel that I compiled, it seems to go quite a ways into the boot-up process before it crashes with the following message:
NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0/SMP for Linux NET4.0 request_module [block-major-8]: Root fs not mounted VFS: Cannot open root device "804" or 08:04 Please append a correct "root = " boot option Did I forget to include something in xconfig?
