Trouble is that I have been doing recompiles for damd years without any real
problems except for now. Yes I do have EVERYTHING in sound compiled in
and even tried from their config, still no go. Others have said that I need to
compile Alsa seperately.

Thast I can believe as I am fast losing patience with Suse.
