Water is only 1g/cc at 4C.  Where'd they get that, you ask?  That's the temp where
liquid water is densest (sea-level pressure and all that).

Also, a calorie is based on grams, not cc's and doesn't have anything to do with
minutes.  Calories are a measure of energy, not power.
