Hmmm, I have found that I do a lot more in consol mode than I did with windowsNT. I was & still like GUI's, they have a place. But I get just as much done using both as I need the value that one gets from Linux. Config stuff, compiling, untar & etc i use the console others thing I use the GUI. There is a old saying, "Use the proper tool for the proper job".
