I have the same issues with Firefox. But it also happens if i view a
M-JPEG stream originating of an Axis camera with Firefox. So i believe
it is an issue with Firefox and not with my application. If i reload the
page after the first time, the stream is fine.

Yes, perhaps you want to use cambozola later. That is a java applet, so
the stream will also work with Internet Explorer etc.

Have a look at the processes and how much which one consumes. It is not
uvc_stream that eats up the ressources.
