OK Guys, I've just did that to my nano 2g and it works! You can run a 3g firmware on a 2g! I just used a hex editor and copied all the contents of 29.1.1.3 firmware to my nano 2g, it reflashed the aupd with success! I think we're on to something here! And bet you are right! The version in the about screen is 1.1.3!!! I tried diagnostic mode and here are the infos: -------- 07/01/06 v0.155 It has the power, audio, lcd and wheel and key and others menus. --- It looks like it's the old diagnostics mode.. either it didn't flash it all or they can adapt that too? Tell me your thoughts.
