Well, that's the old BadBlox crack, which only seems to work for iPods 
older than Nano2G/Classic. We are still looking for a way to decrypt the 
flash of our iPods, but we haven't yet found one. But I doubt that a 
decrypted firmware will enable us to  boot iPodLinux, for details, 
please see the mailing list archive since 2007-12-30. You can usually 
assume that we're informed about the iPodLinux articles, especially if 
they were created 2007-03-30 and never touched again since 2007-04-03, 
but supplying us with information is never such a bad idea, even though 
I doubt that there still is relevant information on the web which we 
haven't found yet. ;)

The not that happy conclusion: No, the revolution is not (yet) going to 
start...
