The same reason you did. Whatever existed before didn't cut it for some
reason.

I have at least four requirements to satisfy that your lib5250 does not.
1. Pure Java.
2. Complete code documentation, as per Javadoc specs, not "DESCRIPTION
DOCUMENT ME!!!".
3. I am accountable.
4. My boss gets to choose the licensing, not me.

But to clear this up completely I will retract my previous question, and
ask a different one:
Out of curiosity, and to avoid an error I might make in interpreting the
TN5250 code, could someone tell me what rules are applied to the placement
of the cursor?
