Bernard,
bon puisque tu sembles avoir des problmes voici:
"
HP DeskJet 955C
Printer Type
Resolution Works? 2400x1200 Perfectly
Notes
It seems that this printer is a Japan only model. Similar to 950C, 957C...
The best output one gets with HP's HPIJS 1.3 or newer. If you cannot update to HPIJS
1.3 for some reason, you can also use HPIJS 1.2.2 with the patches from Matthias Bunte
and Richard Spencer-Smith ("hpijs-rss"). The GIMP-Print driver also works (Model
setting: "pcl-900"), but only up to 600 dpi.
Older comments:
It works with "cdj550", "cdj670" and "cdj880" drivers supported by printtool.
No problem with Japanese language printing with Kondara MNU/Linux.
I think "cdj880" is better, but picture (color) quality is not good...
B/W quality is good for normal printing job.
Yes, I don't recommend using this printer for color photo printing.
Printer does not support PJL.
No known autodetection methods.

Driver Information
Recommended driver: hpijs
cdj880
General driver notes: One version is good for black text, and the new version 1.4 is
good for photos (not suitable for text).
The "Normal" printing quality only works on the HP DeskJet 840C, 842C, 880C, and 882C
when one uses at least GNU GhostScript 6.51.
Type: Ghostscript
hpijs
General driver notes: This driver is the first free driver issued by HP for their
DeskJet and LaserJet printers. Since version 1.0.1 HP has put it under a BSD-like
license without the restriction that it is only allowed to use the driver with HP
printers, as it was the case for HPIJS 1.0 and earlier. So this driver is really free
software now.
Since version 1.0 the driver uses the new IJS interface to plug in drivers into
GhostScript without needing to recompile GhostScript, the driver is provided by an
extra executable invoked by GhostScript which gets the raster data from GhostScript
via shared memory, which is much faster than piping bitmap output into the standard
input of the driver, in addition GhostScript can ask the driver for the capabilities
of the printer/driver pair.
The quality of colour printing is much higher than the quality of the other drivers.
The quality on photo papers (in photo mode) is very high, especially for the newer
models (beginning from the HP DeskJet 990C) which auto-detect the paper type by a
hardware facility and so automatically switch between the normal colour mode and the
photo mode. On the HP DeskJet 990C and newer there is also a 1200 dpi high resolution
mode available, in which the image is interpolated to 2400x1200 dpi or even 4800x1200
dpi by the hardware, and so it gives excellent photo quality. In the new models 6- and
7-ink printing is also fully automatically handled by the hardware, so it works under
free software with this driver and the user does not to switch a driver option
according to the cartridges he is using. This driver is the only free one which
supports more than 600 dpi on HP inkjet printers.
This driver supports also monochrome (PCL 5) and color (PCL 5c) laser printers with
resolutions up to 600 dpi. Most laser printers with 1200 dpi understand usually PCL 6
or PostScript, so use the "pxlmono", "pxlcolor", "lj5gray", or "Postscript" drivers
then. For Brother laser printers use the "hl1240"/"hl1250" drivers. Note that Epson's
AcuLaser color printer series only emulates the monochrome PCL 5, not PCL 5c. So you
have to use Epson's "alc..." drivers to print in color with them.
This driver supports also duplex (double-sided) printing and selection of the paper
input tray, if the printer is appropriately equipped.
The driver execution data currently available on this site is for version 1.3 (or
newer) of HPIJS and IJS 0.33 (available in GNU GhostScript 6.53, AFPL GhostScript
7.04, and ESP GhostScript 7.05.x). It does not work with older versions of HPIJS and
IJS.
To improve the black text output quality for the HP DeskJet 6xx, 8xx, and 9xx
printers, apply Matthias Bunte's patch which lets HPIJS use only black ink for black
text and not a mix of all four inks. There is no difference in the options and the
Foomatic data for the patched and the original HPIJS 1.3, so you have to generate your
data files on this page, NOT on the "hpijs-rss" page

hpijs-rss
General driver notes: This page provides data for the patched HPIJS 1.2.x, for both
the original and the patched HPIJS 1.3 go to the "hpijs".
This driver is HP's HPIJS printer driver with added patches from Matthias Bunte
adapted to HPIJS 1.2.x by Richard Spencer-Smith. It improves HPIJS in the following
points:
The color modes use the black cartridge for black text when printing in color (for
DeskJet 6xx, 8xx, and 9xx printers).
Added Presentation Mode (600x600dpi, plain paper) for DeskJet 9xx series.
Added HiRes Photo Mode (1200x1200dpi, photo paper) for DeskJet 9xx series.
With these improvements the driver gives the same output quality as HP's Windoes
drivers for most printers. Especially the old DeskJet 9xx series (2000C, DeskJet 916C,
92xC, 93xC, 94xC, 95xC, 97xC, 1220C, OfficeJet G, K, V series, PSC 750, 950,
PhotoSmart P1x00) qualifies for being "Perfectly" working now (as long as they do not
have a not supported fax facility). There are no benefits for old black-and-white
inkjets, lasers, and the new DeskJet 9xx series (DeskJet 450, 96xC, 98xC 99xC, 3820,
5xxx, 6xxx, OfficeJet D series, PSC 2xxx, PhotoSmart P1xx, P2xx, 1x15, 1x18, 7xxx.
Business Inkjet series, CP 1160, 1700), but they work as before with the patched
driver, so that in distros only the patched one needs to be provided.
All the other capabilities of this driver are the same as of the original HPIJS.
The driver execution data currently available on this site is for version 1.2.1 and
1.2.2 (or newer) of the patched HPIJS and IJS 0.33 (available in GNU GhostScript 6.53
and APFL GhostScript 7.04). It does not work with older versions of HPIJS and IJS or
the unpatched HPIJS.
