bruce and others,
i keep hearing about ubuntu. i know it's another linux distro, but it
appears to be really growing fast in popularity. any of you ubuntu fans
care to share why this particular distro seems to be so popular? i mean
what does ubuntu have that the other major distros don't already have?
don't get me wrong, i'm NOT trying to start a "my distro is better than
your distro" war, i'm just curious as to why its so popular.
BTW, i've been to their website and poked around, but didn't find
anything that showed me why ubuntu is becoming so popular. that's why i
thot i'd ask those of you who actually use the distro to share your
opinions as to why you prefer this distro over, say, suse; RH; debian;
etc....
