Here are the instructions I followed to install Netscape on my Debian
testing box.

It worked for me. The nice part about doing it this way is that you
create a menu entry for Netscape. As someone else has pointed out
though that will not solve your problem as to how to access a remote
desktop. It will (or should, it did for me anyway) solve  your missing
Nescape issue.
