I started Ubuntu, and pushed Ctrl+Alt+F1, it went to text mode! All the text was going across the screen. Then it prompted me to log in. But before i could type my user name a password, all the text started going up the screen again! Then the screen went black, and that was it!
Is there anyway to edit Xorg form Suse or Windows??? After it boots, try hitting Ctrl+Alt+F1 to get to a text login. From there, you should be able to log in and modify your Xorg.conf file. You can also try hitting Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to kill the X process, which should dump you to a text login prompt. You might want to search xorg.conf for nvidia and change it to nv. I've had more luck with that driver, which is the native X.org Nvidia driver.
