Where Trinity Desktop Environment ,EDE ,IceWM and LXDE are Legacy Systems thus bugs , lack of support ,uptates and lack of security. Chasing a windows 98 look I could find my self with lack of security ,lack of support for multimedia ,bugs and lack of uptades . So from a multimedia and security point of view Trinity Desktop Environment ,EDE ,IceWM and LXDE are no good. So Ubuntu or Kubuntu may be the better option for multimedia and mainstreem support .
