     Excellent dissertation.. I've been running *nix since 1985 learning
much from the read.. Thank you..

     However; I have not seen mention in this thread of the oldest active
Linux distribution; Slackware.. If a person wants to get close to the CPU
and learn more about the nitty gritty of *nix; that's the one to try..
