No, that does not seem to give the right solution... In fact I've installed
the most recent dynamic linker library:
#rpm -q ld.so
ld.so-1.9.5-8
Also I've already linked the library /lib/libdl.so.1 to /lib/libdl.so
#ln -s /lib/libdl.so.1 /lib/libdl.so
RPM still complains when updating linuxconf!
# rpm -U linuxconf-1.12r5-6rh.i386.rpm
failed dependencies:
libgd.so.1 is needed by linuxconf-1.12r5-6rh
