Install the gd package available with redhat 5.2. To do this (in case you
are not that used to that), do
mount /mnt/cdrom
rpm -i /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/gd-1.3*
rpm -U /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/linuxconf-1.12*
