There is at least 2 applications that handle some quicken style functions one
was listed on the GNOME apps page a few days ago and there is GNUcash also.
Both of those seem like they would be viable candidates.  I have been using
GNUcash for a couple of months and think it is better than Quicken but I never
cared for the overkill of features of Quicken.
