Hello Marco and everybody else,

Yes, I think it is a great idea to suggest a list of
applications.

In our lug, when we do a small installfest (we just do
not have big installfest...), to limit our work, I
always recommend a list of applications, specially the
utilitiy kind. Such as :

- Tk-Desk (file manager),
- Xcoral (text editor),
- xdf (xwindow version of df),
etc.

I would be glad to compile a list of applications with
URL to where get them.

=====

- Another point is distributions.
Which one to get, ?
I always get this question. So I did a small page on
it.

=====

- Which Day ?
As of today, My main concern is to find a day.
Which day will be Linuxdemo Day ?
We must find a day and keep it.

It will be helpfull to find a room or a place to meet.
Good places get reserved quickly.

=====

- International ?

It seems clear now, that the interest is more than
U.S.
So we should think about it.

I would help in creating a french speacking site of
Linuxdemo day.

What do you think of it ?

Perhaps, we may need a spanish page too.

=====

- Coordination...
I feel, to suuceed we need a better coordination
between all of us.

For example, last week, almost nothing has been done
because the main person was at LinuxExpo.

I think we should have a responsible person for each
needed part of this project.

To have one person only supporting the whole project
is too much.

What do you all think about it ?

=====

Sorry for my spelling mistakes, my native language is
not english, feel free to correct me when needed.
