Good point ... needs to be a brief text field. All I think we need to do
is point out the general nature of the requirements. Since most software
comes with  documentation of some sort that is readable prior to
downloading / installing, I think a full listing of hardware
requirements / software dependencies will bog us down.

I suppose we (I) should go back over previous e-mails and summarize /
specify these fields for Deepak.

I WOULD like to hear from others on this. It is a lot easier to properly
specify a database than it is to add fields later. Adding the fields is
not generally a serious problem ... but filling them in can be.
Certainly there are more than the 5 people whose names I have seen
involved with this. At this point in organizing this event, I think
"lurking" is a luxury we can ill-afford. PLEASE folks ... if you have a
(constructive / objective) thought, speak up!
