Hi everybody,
I M new to linux. just started with win linux 2k.
I have successfully loaded to linux and it runs fine.
now i need your help for setting up my network, rather
connect my pc on the network. i think my linux has
successfully detected the network card. but how to
configure it i dont know. where to specify ip
address, gateways, proxy server setting etc. etc.
and second doubt is how to install any rpm or .gz
packages. whenever i go thru' packages utility, it
gives me hell lot of dependencies error. this not
found that not found, oooooofffff.

Please help.
