As no one has mentioned any changes to the list of topics to be covered in
the workshop, I think that is settled.

We now need to discuss two things:

1. Who does what
2. Are there going to be any charges.

1. Who does what.

People are going to have to volunteer to do the following tasks:
lectures:

- Installation and compiling
- Security
- Mail (Nagarjuna for sendmail? Someone for Qmail?)
- httpd
- Zope (Kiran?)
- Staroffice
- mysql
- Development tools (Sushil for gcc, gdb, gtk? I can speak on Perl)
- Diff bw linux/gnu

Workshop
- Installation
- Kernel compiling
- security conf
- mailconf, httpdconf

Documentation
- Either write something, or grab the LDP onto a CD. Who can do this?

2. Charging

These are the possibilities:
- Leave it entirely free.
- Charge for documentation and give them CD's or printed documentation.
- Charge even to pay speakers.

I prefer the second alternative. Also, the college may want to charge
participants for taking part in this workshop. I will oppose this because
I feel that we may get a lower response if we do. On the other hand, if
we charge a small amount, they may take it more seriously. (Rs.25?)

I will also check if second week March is okay.

So make your bids on what you want to do now.

Philip
