this is the tricky part. we have to strike the right balance.

if it becomes too expensive people will not take part in it.
on the other hand it will be difficult for us to provide everything for free.

i think we will have to incur the cost of organising etc. ( or get some company to 
sponser us.)

what we can charge is    CDS, documentation etc.
further if the workshop  can be divided into parts.
things like installaion etc of general interest can  and should be free.
but things like zope ( what is that , kiran.)  etc  should  be covered separately and 
nominal charges should be there.

we  also need to have to have a long term plans for  these kinds of things.
ultimately we will not be able to sustain  these seminars for long if  we cannot 
recover costs.
