???? not quite sure if I understand this .
All this proves is that U can use the adbar to connect to another ISP which
uses PAP authentication.
only if U can connect to CALTIGER without the adbar does it mean that anyone
can use the Caltiger.
if U can... that means its also possible under Linux straight out ;-)
my guess would be there is some kind of check to see If the user is using
the adbar.
