Has anyone downloaded the caltiger software? It's 3.4 MB, so I'm gonna
pass for now. It is also only for windows.
For those who want to try if you can get it to work with Linux, here's the
details:
User ID is : neumann
Password is: oldman
E-Mail address is : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Incoming Mail Server is : mail.caltiger.com
Outgoing Mail Server : mailo.caltiger.com
Number to dial is : 172378
Note: There is nothing illegal about many people using the same account,
only one can connect at a time.
Now the fun part.
Oh yeah, it is very easy to submit invalid forms. There is no backend
validation. All validation is done through javascript. If you really
want to have some fun, do this:
Disable javascript in your browser (or use lynx)
In the place where it says "name", enter this:
<img src="url of some image on the net">
Then see what happens when your submission goes through. Really cute. I
would love to see their faces when they notice it.
(I do not claim to having done this with caltiger)
More stuff:
The first time I submitted a form, the transaction got deadlocked with
another transaction. They use MS transaction server. My transaction was
chosen as the victim of the deadlock and was rolled back. I just
resubmitted, and it went through.
So, as they say at Caltiger, Happy Hunting...
