Ok, sending this mail from Caltiger.  The service uses Sendmail for SMTP.
Version 8.9.3
POP3 works as well.  Seems like it can be used as a free pop email service at least.
Haven't tried dialling in yet.

To subscribe / unsubscribe goto the site www.ilug-bom.org ., click on the mailing list 
button and fill the appropriate information 
and submit. For any other queries contact the ML maintener
