Despite the impression given by Philip, Sagar, and me, some people take a
couple of days to catch up on email. Sometimes it's the routers at fault.
Sometimes the ISPs.

Don't do it again, please :)

As my emails to the group are being posted to a public forum, I do expect
them to not remain a secret. But it is common courtesy to ask before
forwarding. (Anyone remember the RFC number?)

Dunno where I heard that, I think it was in some newspaper :)

You don't, unless you have some Scandinavian charset. :)

\"o is sometimes acceptable. I'm sure someone will correct that if it is
wrong.

That's an excellent idea. Any takers?

As long as it's your own statement that you're attributing to
yourself and quoting to the press, I have no problem. I might even say
something like "Personally, I don't believe in paper certifications".

I still want my BE degree, though.

I believe you :)

Please make that point clearly, as pointed out by Philip (IIRC). It is
important.
