Got loadlin anywhere on dos?
loadlin ANYCOMPATIBLEKERNELIMAGE root=/dev/PARTITION ro
Or use a bootable install CD, you can get in long enough to copy the
kernel and grab loadlin (both which should be on the cd in a dos-accesible
area anyway, so you may not need to boot into the install process).
Okay, if it's the Chip CD, you're lucky. loadlin is in /dosutils/loadlin.
Or you could make a rescue disk from /disks/rescue and
/dosutils/rawrite/rawrite.exe
