the ndiswrapper checks for compatible gcc versions based on the kernel I think. If I had to guess, I'd say that your kernel was compiled with gcc 3.4 and the rest of the system may have been compiled with a different gcc version. I had this happen in debian and wouldnt surprise me if ubuntu does it too. - -- JT Morée PC Xperience, Inc. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDVrP5ucZ4lMT2d5IRAj1DAJ4lUN3lF42KCKcBdsYEKwA56DqdKQCdGS6E sO67FYYhKqY93cgvmTDmhr0= =0LEQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ LinuxR3000 mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pcxperience.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxr3000 Wiki at http://prinsig.se/weekee/
