"Open Source == GPL ? Thank God that is not a true statement." That is why I was careful to say GPL and not open source. It is unfortunate that all software projects are not GPL. When I think open source, I think GPL. Any project that says it is open source but is not GPL does not have the users rights and protections in mind.
