I think Great is an appropriate word. Since Microsoft is no longer the 800
pound gorilla in the room, or in other words a "sinking ship" at best, if
adobe jumps on board to bail water, then maybe the will sink together into
greater depths. Let's hope for the best. Hopefully open source developers
will see this as an opportunity to bring video apps up to par like other
apps such as MySQL, Php, and other web apps. As Ubuntu has made a major
breakthrough in the desktop world for linux I think there is good
possibilities for the open source community.

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate Microsoft. Competition is fun. It's also
fun to be on the winning team. Microsoft cuts throat to get on top.
Personally I think it is great when the guy who does an honest job starts to
get ahead. How is it that the cut throats are on top of the world, and the
honest workers are supposed to be satisfied groveling on the bottom rung?
