Scott, the hardware issues I'm having with Ubuntu are something new I've 
NOT experienced using Red Hat based Linux distributions. It leaves me 
wondering if I'd have the same experience if I used Debian, rather than 
someone else's modified Debian distribution (e.g. Ubuntu).
