I think it's a good idea. I'll add it to the wiki, explaining that with
Dapper's driver one should not unplug/replug the tablet.
Here is an area you can help with : could you describe a short paragraph
describing the easiest way for a newbie to get his tablet recognised
again after unplugging it, without restarting the computer and
(possibly) without restarting X, and that with 0.7.2 ?
That would be a great help, because I now nothing about that (my tablet
is always plugged. Even though it's on a laptop, my flat is quite small
and the laptop battery old enough that I don't really use to move the
machine - and the fact I always use a mouse and the audio out jack makes
moving even less convenient :) My dream to see ultralight laptops drop
in the 500$ range...)
I still cc you because my last email got me this answer :

In case it doesn't go through to linuxwacom, could you send a reply to
Re: [Linuxwacom-discuss] /dev/input/wacom missing... thread from me?
Here is my previous message :
Since you're on Dapper, did you try installing the package wacom-tools?
It should configure udev automatically. Please have a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Wacom for the rest :)
Thanks
