Hey, Robert..

Welcome to the wonderful world of source control.  I've been using source
control (either VSS or other) for almost 2 years and my recommendation is
this:

DON'T include the .apf or .apj in source control.  Let every developer
maintain their own copy.  Additionally, don't include your Application.cfm
or appGlobals/appLocals if you have settings specific to your environment.

Learning these two things has help me and my development staff
immeasurably in collaborating on projects.
