I had a similar problem with the “Loading Database Schema” error – this seemed to work.  I even formatted my computer and was still getting the error.   Hope it helps – here is the link to all of the comments on that issue - http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=189&threadid=761338   07/19/2004 05:36:51 PM I am getting the same issue - the "Loading Database Schema" message comes up and then basically kills every connection from my machine - no network access, no internet access, all open programs stop responding, etc. I've gone as far as reformmatting my computer and reinstalling everything. It tends to happen to me when I try to query a table that has a large text/memo field with any data in it. If I take the data out of that field for every record it will work fine (and I've made sure there is nothing but text in the field with no code). When the error happens, I have to force my machine off by hodling down the power button. I'm runnig coldfusion locally on my machine and I have Dreamweaver on v7.01..
