Sorry, I sent the wrong info from the post:   Long morning…     ok - after several days of working with tech support, reinstalling MX and then reinstalling MX 2004 a couple of times, the following fixed the problem for me (so far): - go to drive:\documents and settings\username\application data\macromedia\dreamweaver mx 2004\ - there's supposed to be a 'configuration' folder there, rename it to 'configuration-bak' - restart Dreamweaver and try our issue again On the test page and database that I consistently generated the error on, I am able to get the query to work without ever getting a Loading Database Schema error.
