Which is quite acceptable, especially for a mecha show. But it's not acceptable that the battle scenes are also poster-like. It's not necessary to point out the merits of the action scenes (less than perfect they were) in First, Z, 08MST, Turn-A (to name a few). The mecha actions of 0083 was at least enough to hold me thru 0083 the series that I love to hate. The really sad commentary, is during that very short timespan of the Sarshes v. Setsuna fight scene, my mind drifted off to SDGF. Right so after 7 episodes (over 2.5 hours!) the best fight scene still doesn't match the quality of an average SDGF action sequence.
