Yeah. the song and montage is pretty heavy handed for a mecha anime
that's only 19 ep. so far. I am also convinced that Louise will last
at least for quite a while yet. I'm betting that the OP is spoiling a
lot of things. I may even go so far as to suggest that Louise will
get a replacement hand and have a better than 50% chance to live
happily ever after with old Saji.

I am starting to like the young pair. But I can do without that 2nd
rated tear-jerking montage. It's not even fashionable to do those in
chick flicks now, it's "Epic Movie" territory.

The Nyrono sub says "When linked with Veda, this suit has an absolute
sphere of influence." which seems to emphasis the "sphere of
influence" power is available when Nadleeh is linked with Veda, but it
doesn't say only suits linked to Veda are affected.

That smile when Trial Sys was "cancelled" was Corners. A few minutes
before that, it was Corner's "assistant" smile after the line "I'll
switch to Phase III" was spoken.

Corner's mouth wasn't moving when that line was spoken, so it seems to
coming from his assistant. On surface Corners pushes the buttons, but
his assistant is the real boss? But that scene was a little odd, so I
rewatched it a few times. It seems a bit pointed that we never _see_
his assistant speaks. Audio isn't a strong point of anime, and I
don't have sharp ears, but I swear the line "I'll switch to Phase III"
was spatially undefined. Is that voice disembodied?

Could the assistant be non-human or some kind of puppet? That first
person pronoun is the first time ever I hear someone from CB taking
personally responsibility for a decision. Anyway I am betting the
source of that voice is someone or something important.

A very exciting episode, partly because we have finally a fight scene
that lasted more than 60 seconds. I really like the fact that the
story remains unpredictable. But overall, it's the same feeling, I
keep looking forward to see where things are going, but I keep getting
disappointed with the episodes that got delivered. This time there
isn't too much to complain about, but the Louise farewell scene was so
heavy-handed it's turning into a parody. And the drawn-out Lockon vs.
Setsuna scene was also over melodramatic... I suppose anime can't get
away without some kind of _Titanic_ proclamation. I just wish they
can drop the babbling earlier and get into some hot man-on-man action
already.
