I agree with this whole heartedly. There are a lot of issues in regards to God in this series. Setsuna became a Terrorist because of his beliefs in God. He had a falling out with Ali Al-Sarshes and now believes there is no God. Yet he works for an organization named after, acting like, and almost pretending to be God. I don't think they will go with the full on Wrath of God scenario like NGE. I do think there will be an ongoing major clash over religious dogma and ideals.

Lagna is the rising sign in the eastern horizon - the ascendant - that determines the shape and destiny of a person. That's an interesting counterpoint to Veda, which is Knowledge and Wisdom - of, in some philosophies, divine nature. So it's about Personal Destiny versus Divine Knowledge, probably...? That's an awfully fast turn around time to take a completely new technology and build a high performance war machine based on it. Of course, it's also possible that the super powers' mysterious benefactor(s) provided new mobile suits along with the furnaces. That mobile suit in the first image doesn't seem to resemble stylistically the mecha used by any of the three nations up to this point (or the Gundams). junior Subject : RE: [gundam] More Random 00 Thoughts Date : Wed, 20 Feb 2008 17:08:22 -0600 >From : "Reynolds, Jason M." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To : <[email protected]> Additionally I definitely agree that the things at the end were definitely Solar Furnaces and most likely false ones like the Thrones. There are two shots of new suits in the preview at the end.
