I have taken your advice and modified the ICIIU proposal and
definition, which I had planned to do in any case. I have not,
however, changed it so much as to allow organizations representing
commercial interests to slip in. If that's what the people on the
lists who criticize the ICIIU want, they aren't going to have it. I
prefer to lose and be excluded, rather than be an accomplice to
that. And the ICIIU's constituents, which are very real despite
Crispin's slurs, wouldn't stand for it. I'd rather keep their
respect than gain the approval of the ICANN board or the irrational
members of this list.
