For $71 (today's price) plus a trading commission you can by something
called "a share of stock" in Network Solutions.

 - It gives you a vote.
 - It gives you financial reports.
 - It gives you the right to various financial information.
 - It gives you the right to attend shareholders' meetings.
 - It give you the right to bring legal action against boardmembers or
officers who fail to meet their obligations to the corporation or its
   shareholders.

It's more than one gets by being a member of ICANN.
