I've been provided a tarball of the machine the resources were on, not an
actual VM image. My focus is on doing what I offered, which is getting the
Wiki and accompanying database onto a new host. I know nothing of managing
a mail list, so if someone wants to tackle getting that portion up and
running a new host, now's a good time to raise your hand.

That's good stuff. When the LUG get's incorporated, options are going to
open up across the board. In return, we'll have guidelines and policies in
place for whatever any corporate entity has on the table for the LUG.

More good stuff.

Some research has shown that there are dozens of LUG's around the country
that already use Google Groups. Should Google+ become a viable medium, then
all the better! I like the idea. Let's discuss to see if it's worth
leaping into versus rehosting the current mailman service.
