I've been provided a tarball of the machine the resources were on, not an actual VM image. My focus is on doing what I offered, which is getting the Wiki and accompanying database onto a new host. I know nothing of managing a mail list, so if someone wants to tackle getting that portion up and running a new host, now's a good time to raise your hand. > Pete V from Green Dragon Hosting has also offered to donate some space on > a box. When the LUG get's incorporated, options are going to open up across the board. In return, we'll have guidelines and policies in place for whatever any corporate entity has on the table for the LUG. > I would be happy to take of the management of the domain, DNS and all that > jazz. > More good stuff. > As for the mailing list, a possible option is to move the list to a service like > Google Groups. Should Google+ become a viable medium, then all the better! I like the idea. Let's discuss to see if it's worth leaping into versus rehosting the current mailman service. > I do believe that this reorganization might be what the JaxLUG needs to > breathe some new life into it.
