The JaxLUG VM is running on Xen yes. But only the kernel makes it xen
specific. The rest of the system is a regular Gentoo system. Tarball can
be unpacked on a hard drive, or logical volume. Just need a copy of
portage, and to compile a kernel, and it will run on anything as is,
within reason.

Its extremely portable, and complete. Much more so than what I had to
work with in the past. But the tarball I provided to Mike is not
specific to Xen or any VM platform. Its just a tarball of a Gentoo Linux
system, less a copy of portage, and a kernel.
