Steve,

I don't think I'm subscribed to all of these lists, so feel free to
re-post where appropriate.

A reunion of Florida LUGs is an excellent idea and along the lines we
were thinking of. We have a few conference rooms still available and
welcome you to utilize it for the full day for your purposes.

Obviously, I would encourage everyone to come for the full weekend, but
we understand not everyone can do that. In which case, Saturday would
make the most sense as you would have a full day. Friday is a partial
day and Sunday we close at 3:15.

On Saturday, we also have ad hoc BoFs from 5 - 7 p.m. You could
organize perhaps a "State of Florida LUGs" BoF.

During the conference, we will have a Geeko Lounge which is a social
room plus booths. We plan to have a table for LUGs to put their
materials on for others to grab. A good way to let the locals know you
guys exist. -) If some of you want a dedicated table that you can
staff for the day, let me know and I will work something out.

Also, on Friday, we are working on a raffle event where a certain board
member is planning to "raffle off himself". We intend to donate the
entire proceeds of that raffle to some local LUG. We are looking for
whom would like to receive such donation and could actually use it
towards helping to fund activities for that LUG.

We are completely in support and want to give LUGs every opportunity to
utilize our facilities for their benefit. We are, after all, a
community event and this is along the lines of what we historically do
by supporting the communities we visit.

Thanks,
Bryen M Yunashko
