Well, Elan, we agree on something! I wholeheartedly support this. The
only thing keeping me from in fact *funding* this (say, a
SourceForge-like service and dev community, but with all the tools in
Rebol and on the Web) by buying a machine, paying to have it hosted
somewhere, etc. --- is specifically the lack of a few key components in
Rebol, that are supposed to be in /Command but which aren't here yet. I
can't build a Web+Rebol CVS interface w/o an external app interface. I
can't store data in my RDBMS w/o an interface that's supposedly
forthcoming. I'm not willing to build an idiosyncratic API for
launching apps via a non-Rebol "helper" server, when that's going to be
in /Command. Similarly for database connectivity. Sure, all that's
do-able; but it would be wasted --- and worse, extra --- effort to
build that, then retool when /Command becomes available.
